Is the pottery food, microwave and dishwasher safe?

All items listed for sale on this site are food, microwave and dishwasher safe with the exception of products specifically labeled as “non-functional” or “art only”.

What are the recommended care instructions?

Handwashing handmade pottery maximizes the durability of the glaze and intensity of the colors. That said, the functional pottery is dishwasher safe.

What are the typical processing times?

Every effort is made to ship your purchase as soon as possible. However, our current processing time is approximately 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends, holidays, and transit time).

During this time, we pull and pack your orders to be shipped. However, there may be extended delays for certain items, such as special order items.

We will notify you in a follow-up email if there are any delays.

Please note that all orders are processed in chronological order. Buyers will receive a status update once their purchase ships.

It’s important to remember that there are no guaranteed delivery dates. The initial delivery date shown when tracking your package is merely an estimate. The estimated delivery date will be updated once UPS or USPS scans your package (usually within a few business days of creating the shipping label).

Is expedited shipping an option?

Please contact us at the.alchemist.ceramics@gmail.com with a special request for expedited shipping. Requests will be honored to the extent possible for all in stock products. A request can also be sent through the contact form on this site.

Please note that additional shipping costs will likely apply if standard delivery won’t deliver in time.
